Intro

This project was made during the Audacieux·ses's Game Jam  (2024/09/22-29). Theme : Masquerade.

My role

Arlequin, the character you can see is the one I created. I wrote all scenes with her in it.

All the writers of the team had, at least, one character to create and to write their scenes.

The scene

 Summary of the first scene I wrote with Arlequin : 

The protagonist watches Arlequin, a mysterious woman who once worked for their mother. She hides behind her glass, quietly observing others. The protagonist wonders how to approach her.

  •  Choice 1: Asking about the wine gets a bored response, as she’s tired of small talk. 

  • Choice 2: Approaching silently leads to a playful but guarded exchange, with Arlequin testing the protagonist’s confidence. In both cases, the protagonist asks about her skills as an informant. Arlequin leans in and, with a cold yet daring tone, says she won’t share anything for free. She asks the protagonist to bring her a painting from their host in return for the information. The protagonist agrees, deciding to handle her carefully to get what they need. (also, this choice is gonna be interesting for the next scene like how Arlequin is going to be in relation with our character.)
